Media portrayal and location behavior: Crime reporting and house prices in U.S. cities
Journal of Urban Affairs
本研究运用自然语言处理技术捕捉媒体对犯罪的报道，并与实际报告的犯罪情况进行比较。结果显示，美国各城市媒体对犯罪的关注差异有助于解释当地房价变化，其解释力高于 FBI 犯罪率；两类指标仍可相互补充。研究呼吁更多关注城市增长与衰退的行为和认知机制。
